For the analysis and vendor selection phase, the OAKS project team worked with Deloitte Consulting to conduct a business needs analysis. Using the requirements developed during the business needs analysis, the OAKS team then created a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit ERP software for OAKS. This RFP was released in January 2004 and received timely responses from three software vendors. As part of the RFP evaluation process, agencies were invited to view demonstrations and provide their impressions of each vendor's software. Accenture, LLP was selected April 29, 2005 to implement the system integration and assist with statewide business transformation.
