The OAKS business transformation architect (BTA) project was designed to build upon the project's business needs analysis to develop a strategic foundation for OAKS implementation. Working with resources from Maximus, the BTA project was also designed to fast track the identification and resolution of enterprise-level issues that could impact the project's integration phase.
Completed last month, key deliverables from the project include a strategic plan that affirms the project's vision and recommends strategies for streamlining future business processes with PeopleSoft functionality. The plan applies a number of criteria in defining OAKS impacts and documents key performance indicators the state may use in measuring attainment of OAKS objectives.
Another deliverable from the project is a report of findings and conclusions from a change readiness assessment Maximus administered to examine the extent to which the state is prepared to go through the changes OAKS represents.
