Is Your Computer Ready for Training?

You can find the WBT courses for OAKS under HCM Class Materials and FIN Class Materials on the left menu. You can also find the WBT courses by clicking a WBT course name on the Course Map.

You need to check two things on your computer before you start an OAKS Web-based training course:

Check #1:
  1. Do you have Flash Player 7 or above?
  2. If not, install Flash Player (most computers have this already).
Check #2:
  1. Do you have active pop-up blockers?
  2. If so, disable pop-up blockers to use OAKS and OAKS training.
Problem opening OAKS simulations?

If you've got Flash Player 7 or above and you've disabled all pop-up blockers, but the OAKS simulations still won't open for you:

  • The problem may be caused by software which disables ActiveX on your computer, or...
  • It may be caused by another issue with your computer.

Please contact your agency's computer support team or help desk for assistance with these problems.
